Balsamic Vinaigrette

Easy peasy balsamic vinaigrette. I find it tastes better if you let it marinate for about half an hour before using it in a salad.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp honey
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Whisk everything in a bowl until well combined. Done!

Notes:

  • Different salads will have different degrees of sweetness and acidity depending on your ingredients, so you can adjust this recipe as needed (ie. if your salad is on the sweeter side, you can add in more mustard of vinegar to make it more acidic and vice versa).
  • If you’re feeling fancy, you can mix in 1-2 tsp of goat cheese into the dressing.
