Almond Butter

This process can be used to make many types of nut bugger including peanut butter, walnut butter…etc.

Recipe from:


  • Almonds (amount depends on how much better you want to make)


  1. Toast the almonds in the oven for 8-10mins at 175˚C (350F) to release their oils and bring out the nutty flavour
  2. Put all the almonds in a food processor and blend until it has a paste consistency (will first be a fine powder, then start to clump up, then become oily, shiny and smooth). Done.


  • Can add in more things for extra flavour: salt, raw honey, olive oil drizzle
